What is Language Arts? It is an integral part of our daily and on going development. The curriculum includes various sub- topics such as reading, comprehension, composition, handwriting, spelling, vocabulary building, listening, speaking, grammar and storytelling.

Here at the Charlestown Primary School, Language Arts is taught on a daily basis. We firmly believe in teaching students to read, write, speak, ask questions and respond in kind. The formal, verbal and non verbal information students are exposed to within this core subject area, help them to think logically and creatively, and express their ideas in a standard form (both at a national and international accepted level).
